My fondest memory of Gloria is when I was
a small child and watched the excitement of the whole time she got ready, got make up, went downstairs and left 209 East 165 Street, Bronx 56, New York, to marry the man of her dreams…Eddie Rattner. What a hunk! I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She was like a princess.
YVit, as we used to call her, was a very special person. She had the best sense of humor and I hope those memories will make it a little easier to get through this time.
She loved her family and would do anything for them. She also loved her friends and we were all so happy to be with her. She was a loving, caring, funny woman who had a wonderful life with her devoted husband Ed. She will be missed and and remembered by many. May she Rest in Peace.
Gloria was a fiend for over 55 years. I was fortunate to have her & Eddie living close to me in Florida as well as New York. I will always remember her warmth & laughter in the many years I was lucky enough to call her my friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
I have the best memories of going to visit my grandma and grandpa growing up. During the summers, I would bring a friend and go visit for the whole week. My friends still talk how it was some of their favorite childhood memories too. I loved when my grandma would take me to all of her favorite spots in Boca like the flea market and Fannie’s back in the day. She was always so fashionable and we shared our love of fashion together!
She always made me feel so loved and I knew I would always have a home away from home with her. She will forever live on in my heart and spirit ❤️
